De ligging is ideaal. Het Oosteinde is een van de mooiste en meest gewilde locaties van Oud Voorburg. Op 5 minuten rijden ligt het centrum van Voorburg. In het historische centrum bevindt zich onder andere het Huygenskwartier. Dit is een sfeervol en authentiek winkelgebied met vele boetiekjes, speciaalzaken, kledingwinkels en horecagelegenheden.

Recreatiegebied Vlietland is daarnaast een aantrekkelijk recreatiegebied in de gemeente Leidschendam-Voorburg. Het strand van Wassenaar en Scheveningen is goed per fiets bereikbaar.

In het zuidwesten van de wijk Damsigt ligt metro- en sneltramstation Leidschendam- Voorburg. Openbaar vervoer brengt u in korte tijd naar het centrum van Den Haag en Rijswijk. Via de N14 bent u binnen enkele minuten op de A4, A44 of de A12.

Surroundings

The location is ideal. Oosteinde is one of the most beautiful and most desirable parts of Old Voorburg. The location of the house is exceptional: nature as well as all imaginable amenities are nearby. There are various green parks in Voorburg, such as ‘Sytwendepark’, ‘Vreugd en Rust’ and ‘Zijdepark’.

Further, there are several primary and secondary schools. Various international schools are nearby: the British School Leidschenveen/Mariahoeve a 5-minute drive away, British/American/International School in Den Haag, Wassenaar and Voorschoten a 15-minute drive away.

Also, sports facilities such as a hockey club, athletics association, scouting, fitness centre, and tennis courts are close by. The shopping is excellent in the ‘Mall of the Netherlands’ (currently ‘Leidschenhage’). The Haaglanden Medisch Centrum (medical centre) (Antoniushove) is less than a 10-minute drive away.

Voorburg’s town centre is a 5-minute drive away. In the historic centre there is the Huygenskwartier (Huygens Quarter) among others. This is an authentic shopping area with a wonderful ambience containing many boutiques, speciality shops, clothing stores and eating establishments.

The Vlietlanden is also an attractive recreation area in the Leidschendam-Voorburg municipality. Wassenaar and Scheveningen beaches are easily accessible by bicycle.

In the southwest of the Damsigt area there is the Leidschendam-Voorburg metro and tram station. It’s a short trip by public transport to the centres of Den Haag and Rijswijk. Via the N14 you can reach the A4, A44, or A12 in a couple of minutes.
