De Drie Molens The three-stage windmills make a gorgeous and typical Dutch picture. On Molenvaart, near Stompwijkse Verlaat, stand three polder windmills (all are the so-called grondzeilers), built to drain Nieuwe Driemanspolder. From north to south they are Bovenmolen, Middelmolen (both completed in 1672) and Ondermolen (1903).
