Omgeving

In eén van de mooiste delen van de gemeente Leidschendam-Voorburg, de zogenaamde goudkust van Leidschendam. Op steenworp afstand ligt de Vliet, waarvan zijtakken tot ver in de wijk reiken. De vrijstaande, luxe villa’s liggen grotendeels aan het water. Kleinschalige privé havens zijn een kenmerkend element in de directe woonomgeving.

Het vernieuwde Damcentrum van Leidschendam ligt vlakbij. Een stukje historie en gezellige terrasjes vindt u rond de altijd bedrijvige oude sluis. In de buurt zijn diverse (internationale) scholen en sportvoorzieningen. Voor winkels kunt u kiezen uit het winkelcentrum Leidsenhage of Prinsenhof, die allebei op fietsafstand liggen.

Via de N14 bent u snel op de A12, de A4 of de A44. Door de ligging en nabijgelegen uitvalswegen bent u binnen een kwartier in het centrum van Den Haag, Voorschoten, Wassenaar en badplaats Scheveningen. Openbaar vervoer brengt u in korte tijd naar de Haagse binnenstad. Ook Schiphol is uitstekend bereikbaar, zowel met het openbaar vervoer als met de auto via de A4/A44.

U bent zo in het prachtige poldergebied met haar prachtige molens en veel koeien en schapen in het weideland. Of in het natuur- en recreatiegebied Vlietlanden waar u heerlijk kunt wandelen of fietsen. 

Surroundings

In one of the most beautiful areas of Leidschendam-Voorburg, the so-called gold coast of Leidschendam. The Vliet, with its branches reaching far into the area, is a stone’s throw from here. The detached luxury villas stand mainly on the waterways. Small private harbours are a characteristic element of the immediate surroundings

The regenerated Damcentrum of Leidschendam is close by. This is a bit of history with convivial terraces around the always bustling old lock. In the area there are various (international) schools and sports associations. You can shop in Leidsenhage shopping centre or in Prinsenhof, both of which are within bicycling range.

With the N14 you can be on the A12, A4, or the A44 very quickly. Because of the location of the nearby access roads you can be in the centre of The Hague, Voorschoten, Wassenaar, and Scheveninge beach in 15 minutes. It’s a short journey by public transport into The Hague. Schiphol is also within easy reach, both by public transport and by car via the A4/A44.

In no time you can be in the wonderful polder area with its gorgeous windmills and many cows and sheep on the pastureland. Or you can be in the Vlietland nature-cum-recreation area where you can enjoy walking and cycling.
